Behaviour

At Two Rivers, we firmly believe that bullying has no place in our school or society. We are dedicated to promoting anti-bullying, raising awareness about the negative impact of bullying, and empowering our students to stand up against it. We recognise that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and kindness, regardless of their differences.

Our staff members are trained to identify and address bullying behaviour promptly. We prioritise open communication and encourage students to report any incidents they witness or experience, ensuring their voices are heard and their concerns are taken seriously. By fostering a supportive atmosphere, we aim to create an environment where all students can thrive and reach their full potential.

In addition to our focus on anti-bullying, we are committed to nurturing positive behaviour among our students. We actively promote empathy, compassion, and understanding, encouraging our students to develop their self and co regulation skills. Through engaging educational programs, and inclusive classroom activities, we help our students build healthy relationships and cultivate positive attitudes.

We firmly believe that by fostering a sense of belonging, we can create a school community where each student feels confident, valued and respected. We actively engage parents, guardians, and the wider community in our efforts to combat bullying and promote positive behaviour. Together, we can ensure that Two Rivers Primary School is a place where every child feels safe, supported, and empowered to be their best selves.

We invite you to explore our Behaviour Booklet and Anti Bullying Booklet (created by the school council) to learn more about our anti-bullying, positive behaviour programs, and the various resources available to students, parents, and staff. Together, let's work towards a future free from bullying, where kindness and respect reign supreme.

If you would like more support in this area, please do contact Collette Harding our Assistant Headteacher responsible for Behaviour and Welfare.

School Rules Song

Please listen to our new school rules song below.  This is to be played first thing in the morning when the children arrive and at home time as they leave.

Recorded by Carlence our music therapist it is a truly fantastic way to support the children in their understanding of our rules.
